Hot Summer Nights Fireworks Cruise will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. tonight, departing from Information, Tickets and Travel-Hickam (ITT-Hickam) office. Attendees can enjoy a Hawaiian night aboard the original Waikiki MaiTai catamaran with a fireworks spectacle and complimentary beverages. The event includes round-trip transportation from the ITT-Hickam office. FMI: 448-2295.

Movie Night at Hickam Pool 2 will begin at 5:30 p.m. The movie will be the Disney animated film, “The Princess and the Frog,” beginning at 7 p.m. Participants can bring their own inflatables and relax in the pool while watching a family-friendly movie. Texas Hold’em and Bunco will be held tonight at JR Rockers Sports Café. It begins with a 5:45 p.m. check in for Texas Hold’em, 6 p.m. for Bunco check-in and at 6:15 p.m. play begins. Phat Friday with DJ Magic and DJ GFlava will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight tonight at JR Rockers Sports Cafe. The USAF’s own DJ Magic and DJ G-Flava will keep the party going. FMI: 448-2271.

Pin ng Demo Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mamala Bay Golf Course. Participants can try out some of the latest golf equipment at the driving range. No federal endorsement is intended. FMI: 449-2304 or 449-2305.

Boxing Match will be televised at Jr Rockers Sports Cafe on Saturday. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the Mayweather vs. Canelo fight starts at 3 p.m.

Boot Camp for New Dads will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Makalapa Clinic. New babies don’t come with owner’s manuals. Holding, feeding, diaper-changing and working with mom are all new experiences for first-time fathers-tobe (“rookies”). Dads with 2-4 month-old babies (“vets”) will help the “rookies” with hands-on experience. This “dads only” three and one-half hour workshop is “coached” by a dad. Register at FMI: 474-1999.

Dollar Fifty Monday bowling will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept.16 at Naval Station Bowling Center. Shoe rental, bowling games and a hot dog are $1.50 each. FMI: 473-2574.

Employment in Hawaii class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 16 at Military and Family Support Center (MFSC) Pearl Harbor. The workshop provides a forum for exploring employment opportunities located in Hawaii. Attendees can learn how to analyze the local job market and how to locate local federal, state and civilian job opportunities using employment tools including JEMS job fairs, staffing agencies and career centers.
