Slots still available for humpback whale count

Humpback whale count season is underway. Those interested in participating may sign up as a group or individually. The counts are held on the last Saturday from January through March.

There are slots still available for Feb. 25 and March 31 at many sites around Oahu but the available sites (with limited slots) online are: Diamond Head lookout, Waimanalo Beach Park, Hau’ula Beach Park, Laie Point, Mokuleia, Kaena Point North Shore, Maile, Makua Cave and Kahe Point.
