Hickam hangars bombed during attack

1212-8This photo shows bomb damage to hangars 15-17 and 11-13 at Hickam Field on Oahu at 5 p.m. on Dec. 7, 1941 after the Imperial Japanese attack. In the right foreground is a machine gun emplacement in a bomb crater. A Douglas B-18 bomber is visible inside the badly damaged hangar.
