TWILIGHT TRIBUTE TO TROOPS

SATURDAY — USO Hawaii will hold its fourth annual Twilight Tribute to the Troops from 3 to 9 p.m. at Sea Life Park. The event will include free admission for all military and their family members. The park will be closed to the public and food will be available for purchase. Free off-site parking will be at Bellows Air Force Station beginning at 2:30 p.m. with continuous shuttle service to and from Sea Life Park. SUMMER SUN FUN RUN — SATURDAY

A free summer sun 5k fun run will be held at 8 a.m. at the Hickam Fitness Center. Awards will be provided to each winner in the following categories: men’s, women’s, youth boys and girls, men’s and women’s stroller. There is no need to sign up. MILLION DOLLAR SAILOR/AIRMAN

JUNE 21-22 — The two-day Million Dollar Sailor/Airman class will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Military and Family Support Center Wahiawa. This is designed for junior Navy and Air Force personnel to learn about proper budgeting techniques, credit management, savings and investment options, insurance, military pay and allowances, consumer rip-offs, how to obtain a loan, credit scores, report, and new and used car purchasing techniques. MEET ATLANTA FALCONS — JUNE 22

Joint Base Morale, Welfare and Recreation patrons can meet members of the NFL Atlanta Falcons football team. Scheduled to appear are players Vic Beasley Jr., Grady Jarrett, Matt Bryant and Paul Worrilow and head coach Dan Quinn. Players are subject to change. The free event is sponsored by the USO. A social hour will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Beeman Center for single Sailors and Airmen only. In addition, a meet and greet open to all ages will be held at 5 p.m. at Brews & Cues. PAU HANA CONCERT IN THE PARK

JUNE 24 — The U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific Hawaii will perform a free concert from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hickam Harbor waterfront. Food trucks will be on-site for you to purchase food and beverages. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. FMI: 449-5215.

YOUTH SPORTS SUMMER CAMPS

JUNE 24 — Registration for youth sports summer camps closes June 24. Ages and costs vary and available space is limited. Registration will remain open until the activity/camp reaches the maximum number of children or until the registration end date. Camps include gymnastics/ ninja training, golf, BMX and skateboarding. CHINATOWN TOUR — JUNE 25

A Chinatown food and historic tour will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. by MWR Information, Tickets and Travel. The cost is $30 for adults and $25 for children ages 3 to 11. FMI: 448-2295.

HORSEBACK RIDING WITH LIBERTY

JUNE 25 — A 1.5-hour horseback riding tour along the beach will be held at the Hawaii Polo Club in Waialua. Participants should bring shoes, a camera and money for food afterwards.

The cost is $20. Pickup is from Liberty centers and check in is at 5:30 p.m. The weight limit is 240 pounds. This event is for single, active-duty military E1 to E6 only. FMI: 473-2583.

YOUTH FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION

WATERCOLOR CLASSES — JUNE 28

After-school watercolor classes with Jeff Sanders will be held on Tuesdays from June 28 to Aug. 2 from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Arts and Crafts Center. The cost is $70 per person plus supplies and the class is open to ages 7 and up. FMI: 448-9907.

FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION — JULY 4

A free Fourth of July celebration will be held from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Ward Field, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Free activities include Xpress Train, airbrush tattoos, petting zoo, bean bag toss, batting cage, car show, trampoline and gymnastics mini-lessons and demonstrations by Hawaii Academy. The event will also include scrimmages, demos and an autograph session by Pacific Roller Derby. PATRIOTIC PROGRAM — JULY 4

The Fleet Reserve Association Pearl Harbor Honolulu Branch 46 will hold a Fourth of July holiday celebration at its home at 891 Valkenburgh St. The patriotic program will start at 12:30 p.m. Food including ribs, burgers and hotdogs will be served from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 5 to 12, and admission is free for children under 4 with purchase of an adult ticket.
